                                                                          Accomplishments May 2010

·By-Laws Committee met and developed updates to the club’s by-laws that were presented to the club for review at the May 9th meeting and then adopted in the June 13th meeting.
·Nomination Committee met and proposed slate of officers for 2010
·Activities Committee developed an activities schedule (meetings, rides, and fund raisers) for presentation to the membership at the June 13th meeting.
  Community:
·Made a $310 donation to the VFW for maintenance of the war memorial
·Made a $290 donation to the Island Falls Fire Department on money raised by the Mutual Aid dinner

Trails:
·All main trails signed, this includes St. Regis Roads, Rock Crusher Road, Bible Point, Merriman Road, In-town Roads, and some of the P.D. Roads.
(Still have “new” trails on the P.D. Roads to sign.)
·New trail made and signed up over May Mountain on Sue Ballou’s property (to replace old trail that crossed the middle of her property).  Great view
  from up there!
·Jeff Brooks’ pit (off Beaver Dam Point Road) is now opened and signed again.
·Two skidder bridges were put in to replace a washed out culvert on the trail between the Old Patten Road and Porter’s.
·A new trail cut from Porter’s to O’Neil’s following Sly Brook.  (Still needs grading work and a couple of bridges/culverts put in.  Then it will be signed.
This is the alternative route once the bridge on Route 2 is out for repair.)
·Belvedere Road trail was closed per mandate of the state.  (May be able to have this back next year, but this year, the bridge in town coming out means
Belvedere is the main route from one side of town to the other.  Too much traffic for the wheelers to be able to run it this year.)
·Picked 1500 pounds of trash on our trails on Saturday, May 22nd
·Permission from the town of Island Falls was obtained for trails crossing/using Island Falls town roads
·Permission from town of Crystal was obtained for trails crossing/using Crystal town roads
·Trail Master Rick Robinson GPS’d many of our trails and is working on getting updated maps on the web site
·Lloyd, Jim, and Lewis attended the Forestland Group meeting in Presque Isle

Trails:
·Got a new trail to Shin Pond opened. (Thank you, Craig and Terry Hill!. They obtained the permissions necessary to make this a legal trail.)
·Working on getting a trail to the Hangar in Patten open.  Still working on Willager Lane (signing) and getting permission for a piece of property along
